Master's Programs
The Master of Arts (M.A.) programs mainly prepare students to acquire a solid foundation of basic theories and specialized knowledge in their areas of study and to develop competence in research and/or teaching. Graduates are expected to become qualified professionals working in educational agencies, higher education institutions, or other related fields.
GSE has three M.A. programs, namely Higher Education Program, Educational Economics and Administration Program, and Educational Technology Program.
Major research fields of master's programs are as below.
I. Higher Education Program: foundation of higher education; international and comparative higher education; educational research methods; curriculum, teaching, and human development.
II. Educational Economics and Administration Program: economics of education; education finance; educational administration; educational policy; student development.
III. Educational Technology Program: teaching resource construction and instructional design; web-based learning.
