Professor Yan Fengqiao

Major academic areas: organization and institution in higher education, private education and private higher education, academic profession.

Principal investigator of several research projects sponsored by World Bank, Ford Foundation, and Chinese government.

Papers have been published in English and Chinese journals, including The Review of Higher Education, Chinese Education and Society, Educational Research (Chinese) and so forth.

International Experience: Visiting scholars to Lancaster University (UK) in 1991, to SUNY at Albany in 2000-2001, Stanford University in 2014-2015.

Membership in a few Chinese academic societies: economics and administration of education, educational development strategy, and institutional research.
