Ma Wanhua

Dr. MA, Wanhua is a Professor at the Graduate School of Education, and the Director for the Center of International Higher Education, Peking University. Dr. MA got her Bachelor Degree at Jilin University, China, and her master and PHD degree at Cornell University USA. Her current researches mostly focus on higher education internationalization, global research universities and university governance. Professor Ma has extended knowledge on global higher education development. She was a visiting professor to UC Berkeley (2003) and a Fulbright New Century Scholar to the University of Vermont in the US (2005/06). She was also a DAAD fellow to Kassel University in Germany (2008), an Erasmus Professor to the University of Tempere in Finland (2009) and Free University of Brussels in Belgium (2010). Now she is invited as a guest professor to the School of Education, University of Pittsburgh, USA. She has published extensively on issues of internationalization of higher education and the world class universities both in Chinese and English.
