Zhao Guodong

Professor Zhao Guodong graduated from Peking University, School of Education and received a doctorate. He is the current Peking University School of education professor and the degree committee, education technology doctoral tutor. He has also served as Deputy Director of the Center for Modern Educational Technology of Peking University. His research interests include digital campus planning, micro-course and MOOC design and network research. In the academic achievements, he has published four monographs including an English one, four teaching materials, and more than 60 papers in English or Chinese.

Since 2013, he has initiated and hosted the "Micro-Course, MOOC and SPOC Training" project, which has held more than 200 training courses in over 40 cities in China, with more than 20,000 participants. Under his leadership, the project has a number of innovations in the form of training, mixing "flipped training" "interactive feedback lectures" "practice exercises" "live micro-video shooting" and other new methods into teachers’ IT skills training.
