一、工作坊主题 Theme of the Workshop

疫情下的教育发展：机遇与挑战

Opportunities and Challenges of Education Development in the Covid-19 Era

 

教育是落实联合国2030年可持续发展议程的重要内容。联合国可持续发展目标（SDGs）第四项内容明确教育目标为“确保包容、公平的优质教育，促进全民享有终身学习机会”。扩大普及教育机会，努力提高优质公平的教育亟待国际社会的共同努力。

 Education is an integral part of achieving sustainable development. The pursuit of better education is well captured in Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4) of the 2030 Agenda which aims to “ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all”. Improving access to school, educational equity and relevance require the joint efforts of the international community.

 

在线教育技术在疫情中迎来了新的发展契机，但数字鸿沟的扩大也为教育公平带来了新挑战。后疫情时代，如何进一步推动教育普及、提高教育质量、促进教育公平呼唤来自海内外学者的声音。 

Online educational technology boomed during the epidemic, but the expanding digital divide has also brought new challenges to education equity. How to further increase the access to education, improve the quality and equity of education calls for the voices of young scholars.

 

在此背景下，为回应时代发展需要，探讨未来国际教育发展的趋势、挑战与对策，促进中外人文交流，推动实现有关教育的可持续发展目标，北京大学教育学院与北京大学教育经济研究所在教育部中外语言交流合作中心的大力支持下，拟定于2021年10月16日举办“新汉学计划”博士生教育学专题工作坊，诚邀海内外优秀博士生参与研讨。

With the strong support of Center for Language Education and Cooperation, we invite doctoral students from the China Studies Program to participate in a workshop entitled “Opportunities and Challenges of Educational Development in the Covid-19 Era” taking place both online and offline on Saturday, October 16 2021. This workshop will bring Chinese scholars and international students together to discuss the future trends, challenges and opportunities in the educational development, to promote cultural exchanges and to help achieve the SDGs.

 

 

投稿文章以实证研究类为宜，议题包括但不限于：

We strongly encourage empirical papers in the following topics but is not limited to:

（1）教育普及 Access to Education

（2）教育公平与质量 Equity and Quality in Education

（3）教育与社会需求协同创新 Collaborative innovation between education and society

（4）教育技术与疫情应对 Education Technology and Adaptation under COVID-19

 

二、工作坊形式与时间 Format and Time of the Workshop

工作坊形式：本次工作坊将采用线上与线下相结合的方式举办（具体安排视疫情情况而定），所有活动将进行网络直播。 

本次工作坊包括但不限于以下环节：

（1）优秀学术论文分享与讨论

（2）海内外优秀博士毕业生分享教育实践经历

（3）国内外相关领域的知名专家学者及期刊编辑参与讨论、分享与点评

 

The format of the workshop will be blended with both face-to-face and virtual options. The activities during the workshop include:

(1) Sharing and discussion of excellent academic papers

(2) Educational experience sharing

(3) Discussion session joined by reviewers, scholars and journal editors in related fields at home and abroad

 

工作坊时间：2021年10月16日

工作坊地点：北京大学教育学院（线下），具体线下线上地址将在后续通知中公布。

参会费用：本次工作坊不收取任何会务费用。承办方将为现场参会者提供午餐，往返交通费、住宿费用自理。

 

The workshop is scheduled to be held at the Graduate School of Education, Peking University on October 16, 2021. We will disseminate information about the online options as we get closer to the event.

No fees will be charged for conference participants. Free lunch will be available for presenting doctoral students who attend the workshop physically.

 

三、评选说明 Information on Research Prizes

本次工作坊将邀请相关领域的专家组成学术委员会，对投稿文章进行双向匿名评审，从中选出6篇优秀论文进行评奖，获奖论文相关信息敬请期待后续通知。

奖项设置：

            一等奖 一名

            二等奖 两名

            三等奖 三名

 

The workshop organizing committee will invite renowned scholars to form an academic committee to review and select 6 excellent papers from the submitted papers through double-blinded review. The first authors of those 6 excellent papers will receive research awards according to their ratings of the academic committee.

Research awards:

            one first prize

            two second prizes

            three third prizes

 

四、工作坊投稿要求 Requirements on the Submission to the Workshop

 

投稿文章应为未公开发表的原创文章，第一作者应为海内外院校的在读博士生，如有他人合作，投稿前需征得同意。

 

论文格式请参照《北大教育评论》的投稿要求(中文投稿最好不超过一万字)，英文文章请参照《Economics of Education Review》的期刊投稿要求。

 

论文文件请以“题目+姓名+专业+联系方式”进行命名。投稿截止日期为2021年8月31日，投稿成功者将在一周内收到邮件确认。

The workshop accepts unpublished and original article. The first author should be a doctoral student. The approval of other co-authors is needed before the submission. Article should not normally exceed 10,000 words (excluding footnotes). Please refer to the submission guidelines of “Peking University Education Review” (paper in Chinese language) and “Economics of Education Review” (paper in English language) for format requirement.

We prefer to receive submissions as attachments in Pdf or Word document format via the link (https://www.wjx.cn/vj/OLODmum.aspx) or email. The file should be named as "title + name + major + contact information". The deadline for submission is August 31, 2021. Successful submission will receive an email confirmation within one week.
